Most snow has melted from the ground from all but the highest of places. Water levels in the lake have risen and most earthy ground is moist from snowmelt and rains.

The wilderness is awakening with the spring season. Animals are becoming more and more abundant. Fruits and vegetation are beginning to sprout and ripen.
