Traits :: Bonobos are more patient and kind than their chimpanzee cousins. They tend to choose the path of least resistance and often times are viewed as pacifists amongst their ape bretheren. Due to their small stature, bonobos find more comfort in the safety of the treetops.

Traits :: Typically quick to anger, chimpanzees are both strong and agile. Oftentimes they can be seen as violent due to the males' commonly found lust for power. They are a well rounded species who thrive both on the ground and in the trees.

Traits :: Though large and brutish in appearance, gorillas are typically calm and serene. Males may find trouble living within the tribes due to centuries of living in harems. This may cause aggression towards other males - especially of the same species. It is not common for gorillas to be found in the trees as they prefer to remain on solid ground.
